- As a primary function the Guild sponsors and contributes annual funding for a Florence Symphony Orchestra Concert. In addition, the Guild often provides scholarships to talented young musicians in the community, as well as supporting the newly formed Florence Symphony Youth Orchestra. The Florence Symphony Guild undertakes numerous projects to provide monetary support for the Florence Symphony Orchestra. Among the many fund raisers have been Oktoberfests, garage sales, fashion shows, card parties, designer show houses and most recently the addition of a Holiday Homes Tour along with the current "Taste of the Symphony" each Spring.
